Where Healing Begins, and Independence Takes Root

At the heart of Finding Camelot’s model are our Household Complexes,

residential environments designed to offer stability, community, and the tools for personal growth.

These aren’t shelters or group homes. They are intentional living spaces, built around dignity, transparency, and mutual support. Each complex is a single family home with

at least 5 private bedrooms for members, 2 spaces dedicated to accommodating dependants, and shared spaces for mealsand everyday life.

The homes are renovated specifically to meet the unique needs of communal living, providing the privacy and the extra amenities needed to cohabitate comfortably.

Nonprofit-Owned, Publicly Operated

The properties are owned by the nonprofit, but the people who live in them—the household members—run the day-to-day operations. From budgeting to conflict resolution, every household holds regular meetings where decisions are made collectively.

Domestic Socialism in Practice

Our members contribute only a portion of their income to the household account; the rest remains entirely their own. This modified application of socialist principles—what we call domestic socialism—balances shared responsibility with personal freedom. It provides the financial stability and communal structure needed for healing, while preserving the independence and autonomy that make growth possible.

Decentralized Financial Structure

Every Household Complex manages its own finances through a property-specific cash app account. Dues are paid directly into this account and withdrawn only to cover the costs of that particular property. Every member has access to the account ledger, ensuring 100% transparency and collective trust.

Community Governance

Each household elects three deluxe members to leadership roles:

  1. Executive Homemaker – Oversees the household environment and ensures needs are met.
  2. Assistant Homemaker – Supports logistics and member coordination.
  3. Executive Provider – Handles budgeting, ledger oversight, and external coordination.

A Launchpad, Not a Lifeboat

Our Household Complexes are designed as starting points—not dead ends. By creating sustainable housing that members can afford, manage, and take pride in, we break cycles of dependency and build new pathways toward financial independence and emotional healing.
